They change display from time to time. If you’ve been there go again. I’ve had the honor of cutting an employees hair many times. In conversation about this museum I can see the passion, love and care that goes into this place. Check it out !

This local museum highlights interesting aspects of living in the PNW, in SW Washington in particular. Current exhibits include one on music which is very interactive and one on transportation and commerce, specifically on rivers which is also very informative and engaging. Next up will be one on brewing. Helpful staff make it an enjoyable while affordable visit.

The Pearson Air Museum is part of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve District. The District was built in 1824 to the early 1900’s and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. This Museum is Awesome!!

What a beautiful place to visit! I had never been to this type of museum, so I didn’t know what to expect. The displays were so gorgeous. The animals seemed to come to life before my eyes. To see such marvelous animals up close was awesome. I could have sat and stared all day.

It was amazing to see so many rare cars. The tour guide knew and shared so much information on each car. I could see he enjoyed talking about each one of them. There are cars that will interest all generations old and young. Ron was very personable. I enjoyed my conversation with him as I shared how my Father would always go to his wrecking yard on Fourth Plain back in the 70’s to get parts for his projects. If you love cars this museum is a must. I will go back just to hang out with the cars and guys.

This has the potential of being a wonderful addition to the local museum community. The owner of the collection has a commendably eclectic taste in motor cars, and the quality of restoration to the cars is absolutely beautiful. The dedication to tracking down and obtaining only original parts is both heart-warming (for the purist in all of us), and a wonderful dedication to each car and marque represented in the collection. It will be a triumph to see the current “basket case” Packard brought back to its rightful glory as one of the premier autos to come from America. Just about every car we were able to see displayed at this “preview event” was a favorite in one way or another. Can’t wait for the finished museum to open.

We had my father’s memorial service here, in the Bruce E. Hagensen room, and it was perfect. Great views, a kitchen, and refrigerator. Ample space and tables/chairs. Projection screen and audio. It was very nice. The only downside is they do not allow you to plug in appliances for hot food, but we honestly didn’t miss it. There is also a museum downstairs with interactive displays. Great to keep kids busy.

The city of Vancouver did a fabulous job designing this facility. Aimed mainly at children the exhibits are still cool. The best thing was the aquarium with small sturgeon, the tank supposedly had coho baby fish but they were missing. They have a classes for school children on Saturdays with volunteers to help educate and keep interests high. Really great bathrooms.A great place for kids to let off steam and enjoy water activities. Many people stopped to take pictures.
