Great place, the rooms are nice, their TVs could use an update, but I’m sure as you go up in suite, the better the electronics get. I honestly can’t complain about them, because I just watch videos on my tablet most of the time anyways, I digress.

I absolutely love the staff at this hotel, I look forward to seeing them every time I go, I travel there twice a month for business and I can honestly say they’re they’re my absolute favorite people to see! They’re always kind, and anytime I’ve had to call down they got me covered, I honestly couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Great place to stay while visiting Vancouver. Nice area to walk and lots of different restaurants within walking distance. Joe Browns Diner is a must for a delicious breakfast. The staff was a great help. Thank you Daniel for a job well done. We appreciate you all you done to help and make our trip a great time.

Great location right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to the waterfront area. The rooms are very nice. We had a balcony room overlooking the park that was super nice. Comfy beds and even a mini fridge.

The hotel location was wonderful, very close to beach and close to stores and restaurants but it was so crowded in Memorial holiday. The room entry floor was wet when we entered. The Toilet had not fan and the A/C does not work correctly in a hot summer day. We informed the front desk but nothing happened during our stay. They did not send housekeeper to our room in second day because we did not ask for it! it was so weird.
I just enjoyed the breakfast but the service was so slow and not friendly at all! definitely the Red lion hotel would not be my chaise again.

We experienced excellent, prompt customer service at the hotel’s on site restaurant. The food was enjoyable and priced a tad high for the quality of food.

We were disappointed with the hotel’s appearance and cleanliness. The common areas were unkempt once we left the main floor. There were beverage stains & obvious signs of not having been vacuumed throughout the hallway and elevators.

Our hotel room was nice and comfortable. However, the moment we entered our room, it definitely had not been vacuumed and there was dried urine on the toilet seat.

We likely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend an overnight stay here because of the cleanliness issues.

Our family loves this place! We stay here every time we’re in Portland, and will continue doing so. It’s a great location, with fantastic views, a very large pool, tennis courts, an on-site restaurant and bar, and our rooms have always been very spacious and clean with phenomenal views and comfortable beds. They also offer some of the best pricing in the greater Portland area, especially for what you get. Guest services, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are all top-notch! A very pleasant and accommodating group of folks.

Highly recommend ~ we will be back! Megan was a joy and got us checked in and set up quickly. The room we stayed in was renovated, light and bright. Great rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. All the staff members were friendly and kind. There was an on site dog run, which we were so thankful for. Great grounds and surrounding areas for walking dogs. We ate at the bar and restaurant several nights and everything was delicious. So thankful for such a lovely stay!

My best staying by far!!! Even though me and my family made a last time reservation we had an good experience, the rooms, the service, also the buffet and bar and the parking it’s cool! The only issue was the ice machines, I’ve had to get ice on the lobby but other than that it’s an amazing place. We would make our reservation again if we go back to Portland

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Starting with Amber. She answered the phone professionally and courteously. Answered all of our questions and made sure she met all of our needs. We got to our room, which was well appointed, clean and comfortable! The beds were the most comfortable of all the rooms we had stayed in for our week in OR. The pillows were an equal match. 🙂 We asked for suggestions on a restaurant to eat at and Amber suggested their in-house restaurant and a few of her favorite items. We informed her we would like to eat at a restaurant off-property. Amber gave us a few suggestions which we chose one. The restaurant was EXACTLY 💯 what we were looking for! Breakfast was included with our stay which we made use of. I decided to eat downstairs where I was served a selection of different hot food; eggs, sausage, pancakes, country potatoes, Danish, orange juice, coffee etc…It was a nice touch to eat on real plates and silverware instead of plastic and paper plates. I brought breakfast to my partner which was greatly appreciated. My partner and I agreed if breakfast is this good we are definitely going to dine in next time we are in Portland. Bravo to Amber and all the staff at the Oxford Hotel Portland. You impressed us and we look forward to our return visit.

A lovely hotel close to three nice restaurants. We ate in both restaurants and went to the coffee shop. It is nice to be on the river and walk on the river walk. The swimming pool is lovely. The flowers and outdoor davenports and chairs and tables were great during the pandemic. It is easy to get to and we enjoyed our rooms with 3 televisions to watch the 2020 Olympics from Tokyo.

My partner and I have been staying here for two weeks on business, and it’s been a very comfortable stay. Front desk and housekeeping were very helpful with any needs, there are lots of paths to walk dogs, AC is very efficient, and I appreciate the apt sized fridge in the kitchenette, as opposed to a mini fridge. Definitely recommend for extended stays or for when you just need a little more space in your hotel room.

Nice hotel rooms but I parked my car in the parking lot and someone came by and lifted my car during the night and sawed off my catalytic converter. Be careful parking here. Staff and management said nothing and did nothing. I doubt the cameras around the building work. Felt pointless telling them. I was not satisfied or happy with my stay after that. They need security around the hotel. I advise all guests and future guests to know it’s a problem before staying here.

Don’t forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I’ve been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let down.

This place was very nice, room was huge, beds were comfy. The place was well furnished. They are doing good work here at the Best Western in Portland!

Good for last minute booking especially if you just need somewhere to stay for the night. I’ve stayed at much worse hotels and the staff were friendly. Pet friendly and family suite was spacious. The rooms in the pictures weren’t quite as nice in real life. Stains on the carpet and air conditioner didn’t work well so it was very hot during our august stay. The beds weren’t very comfortable. It would be good to bring your own toiletries because they had installed to the shower walls their shampoo, conditioner etc and it a bit gunky and impossible to get anything out of it. It might be worthwhile to spend a little extra elsewhere but again affordable and not terrible.

Very helpful and friendly at the desk. Place was clean and quiet. The room was spacious and updated looking. There is access to several needed businesses practically right outside their doors and breakfast was great. Only downside was the spa not being in service. Hope its fixed soon.

Our stay was fantastic! We arrived on a Saturday when it was super busy and the ladies at the front seemed super busy but were very pleasant. We tried to check in early but Destiny told us that because they were super busy we weren’t able to. We came back at check in time and Destiny remembered us right away and checked with housekeeping to see if our room was ready or not. Emily came in and Destiny said it would be another 20 minutes before we could go in. I overheard her say to Emily that she was going to help housekeeping get the room ready and man did they do a great job! Everything was spotless and the room was wonderful! The beds are so comfortable here that I asked where they purchase them because they are heavenly! Both ladies were very helpful in our time of need, and the fact that they would help their housekeepers to make sure we got into our room faster earns our respect! We have mentioned this hotel to our friends and family and will be coming back from now on! The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we have enjoyed our stay here and we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last night. It was an adventure to say the least. I now see why it has a low review. As soon as we went into the room, I immediately saw that the cleaning of this room was rushed and not cleaned completely. I have worked for many high end hotels in all divisions of the hotels, including housekeeping. I am a detail person, and customers (especially now with pandemic) look for cleanliness the minute they walk through the door. Sadly disappointed by condition of room. Light switches were filthy, tub had some nasty substance in it from previous customer, lights did not work, smudge on window from someone having their sweaty forehead against it, blood stains on pillows, dust all over the hairdryer (sign of not being sanitized), tissue dispenser not changed, and as we were packing up this morning I flushed the toilet and the plastic tank lever snapped off.
On a brighter note Destiny behind the front desk was friendly, helpful and working her butt off. She came down herself to clean the tub so we could use it. My review would have been 1 star, but she was great and needs a raise for doing other people’s work. Thank you Destiny!

The detailed version:
Sierra at the front desk is the definition of hospitality. I had a small issue with my booking because the Choice app had a problem which happens sometimes, but Sierra was quick to find a solution, friendly the whole time, and overall a great professional. Shout out to the general manager Alicia for being available to help right away and to both of them for helping me reach a fast resolution!

I really enjoyed the room, nice and cool despite the 115 temperature outside, and everything was clean. Sometimes I don’t enjoy hotel beds because I have a bad back, but this one was really nice! Would love to stay here again!

The location is really great, there’s loads of restaurants within walking distance, but let’s be real, I’m lazy, so the Angus Steakhouse which I would define as “within spitting distance” was the perfect option.

Oh, and the parking was really good too! I saw the parking for some of the other downtown hotels and was REALLY glad I didn’t have to try to squeeze into them. If you have a big truck, a big van, or just like not feeling stressed about getting a decent spot this is the hotel for you!

Let me start with the good comments first. Customer service was pleasant and ,inviting,and helpful. Ok, being a traveler for work in the Eastern Washington I stay at a Marriott each week for two nights for work. I have severe allergies to pets and
environment. There is a time and place for everything. I ask if they have special rooms designated for pets because I saw people coming in with them. I was told that they try to keep them on the first floor. I said to the lady that I am highly allergic to pets. Her response was if the rooms feels weird let her know. That does not help me because your asking me to be expose first before anything could be done. Besides that there were stains on the carpet. My little boy wanted to sleep on the pull out bed when we flip the couch it had stains as well. The bathroom needs a major upgrade the vent was falling off, the tub felt like I was going to fall through to the next unit, the bathroom walls in shower were also soft and mildew. Now I usually do not make comments like this and it’s been a month since my visit and it was still on my mind. Because my allergies went out of control when I wasn’t in our hotel room I was fine. But when I got back I ended up for the sleeping with my mask on. My allergy medication was not working well. I was trying not to go to the urgent care and wait til I got back home. I felt better once I left there but still needed to up my medication. I think it is not a bad idea to look at Eastern Washington Hotel and see how well they have renovated their property even in a pandemic all areas was redone. I know this because I stayed there during the whole process. Their rates are so much better and you are getting a better quality. They do not allow pets but listen to the customers needs. You cannot just slap lipstick on a pig and call it pretty. You are too close to the airport to not put more work into your rooms. Not the best family vacation to be honest

I realize that everyone in town is wanting to get a hotel right now to get out of the heat. It just seems odd to me that the hotel over booked by 39 rooms. I waited in line for an hour just to be told they do not have a room. Yall need to figure out a better way to not let this happen and notify people before they arrive at the hotel.

Hotels never have good pillows. This hotel does. The beds are comfy. The Roma are very clean. There’s good sanitizing protocol, with sanitizing stations everywhere. The pool abs hot tub are well kept. The staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Housekeeping staff is great. The front desk people don’t really seem engaged in their work besides one gentleman who works the graveyard shift, he was very nice. Ethernet ports don’t work in the rooms, and I was apparently the first person to bring that to their attention. Was told to check back in three times on an update, stopped after the 3rd. Also tried to get a beer from the front desk with a credit card, the host didn’t know how to run a separate transaction from the room. Ended up being passive aggressive until I just said never mind.

The one lady serving us was very friendly & helpful and overall the service is also good with others including they ones serving breakfast. I would give 4.5 stars for the people working there.

However, will give 3-3.5 stars to how old & outdated the building and rooms are and due to this reason, the place has a very dark feel.

It was nice, however, to have a window in the room you can open for fresh air which is a plus.

So average 4 stars for this place.

So far, fairly happy with this establishment. They were quick to accommodate us in terms of getting us newer runes early, and giving us a late checkout when requested, etc. Ample parking is available. And they serve breakfast with most reservations I believe. The only downside is that the area just beyond the boundaries of this establishment are a little bit dicey… Homeless encampments, broken down cars, litter, etc.

Unfortunately we had a breakdown in our motorhome which led us to Fairfield inn & suites by Marriott. We had to stay two weeks while our motorhome was in the shop and in those two weeks it was the best day’s I have ever had in a hotel. Thank you Josie Corey and Deborah you are the BEST ❣️ you made our stay there very warm and wonderful. If you’re looking for a stay at a hotel I strongly recommend Fairfield inn & suites. Josie Corey and Deborah you worked so hard in helping us out in every which way possible. If we needed anything you guys were all spot on ❣️ thank you all so much for everything. I’m going to miss sitting outside on my little portable stool and talking with other people that came and went.

NEAR MY HOME. Shopping for frozen dinners for neighbor. First, the horrible smell of cooked food when I go into the store is very off putting. This is the reason I seek out other stores most often. But in a pinch, I need to go to Target as it is close to home. Although they advertise they have everything, the shelves were pretty bare. Ice cream treats? 2 boxes. Frozen entrees? Very slim pickings. But the MAIN THING is that terrible smell when you enter the store. Ugh.

For a while (especially in the last couple years) target has brought in a lot of household and beauty supplies that help me live my values and do it in a store without having to shop online and ship to my home. & Bonus: they group it all together in each section making getting in and out easy!

High tech , very well provisioned dental clinic, very friendly staff, and very well trained, with a very good and over verified procedures. Time spent here seems a lot longer than regular dental visits since the doctors have to verify and recommend all the students work, but we are very happy with the outcome since we did get very good care.

Graduate of Clark and now have had to take a couple “extra” classes to fill in between classes I actually need. Such a scam to get more money by having us take classes not related to education actually needed. Not to mention navigating their website is a nightmare! Just trying to sign up for classes and not having an advisor right next to you to enter pass codes, finding classes and all the passwords for each separate website that clark uses- canvas etc pain in the @&&!

I took my 6 year old son to look at the trains today because The Heritage in Portland is closed. Libbi was working and she let us in to look inside. She was extremely kind and gave my kid a little Junior Packet! Her kindness was spread as my son gave another little guy outside one of his gifts from her.

Not horrible. Customer service on the trains is not great, but adequate. A smile once in a while would be nice. I do appreciate the observation windows and seating, a lot. The canteen workers are always nice, too.

I originally wrote this review a year ago, but it is still one of my favorite places to eat! I can’t count how many times I’ve been here throughout my life. First of all, the food is amazing! They’ve changed their menu quite a bit over the years but everything I’ve tried is super tasty. I do think that their calamari was better last year, though it still is delicious. Their clam chowder has been consistently creamy and good. It’s always hard for me to decide whether I want to try something new or stick with something tried and true. Also, the service is wonderful. Every waiter and waitress I’ve had here has been talkative and kind, and willing to fix anything that may need to be fixed. Finally, the location is great. I love being by the river. The charity tables give you a great view.

Beaches checked all the boxes for a great restaurant experience. Our reservation was honored and were we seated on schedule. We had a wonderful river view. Our cocktails came out in a few minutes and were spot on. Entrees we’re all enjoyable. A surprise highlight was the waffle sweet potato fries, which were probably the best SP fries I’ve had.

Great service, great food, reasonable price. We’ll be back.

We really needed a nice night out and they treated us like it was a special occasion. Not to mention the food was amazing. With so many places to go in Vancouver it has been some time since we have been to Beaches. We plan on going again very soon!

Good sized rooms, although the hotel itself is in a crAmped little section with other business buildings and hotels. Free breakfast option although it was mostly bagels (we opted to eat out). Parking is only $10 a night. Room was a comfortable kitchen suite with a full sized fridge/freezer. Only real negative was a word out and stained bathtub. Otherwise it was a good redemption of Marriott free night certificates.

Comfortable beds, clean and spacious for our family of four and our dog (two room suite). It was quite dated, had a couple broken appliances/parts in the kitchen, and the pipe under the master bathroom sink started leaking and overflowing onto the floor. Located on a busy, narrow street. Seemed overpriced for the quality.

McMenamins is a fun and interesting place to eat. The decor is always something to see and the waterfront view is pretty. Our service was excellent and the meal was delicious. Seriously, the burger was perfectly cooked. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I do feel it is a little more spendy than it’s worth. I will go again.

Every time I come here, the staff and service is always excellent. Always a different waiter or waitress helping me but always great service and food. The wait time isn’t terrible. Usually 20 to 30 min. It’s my go to for sure . Love it here

The wait was not very long, about 35 minutes. We went for a walk while waiting. Lost my mask (yes, completely my fault) I thought establishments had to provide a mask to guest that did not have one. I had someone that was with us to ask for one since our table was ready. They said they don’t provide masks. Luckily I did find an extra in the car. But, was a bit disappointed, if I did not have an extra We would not be able to eat.
The Salt and Pepper Squid was great. Two people at my table had the Steak Bites, they were over cooked and chewy. I had a salad with blackened salmon. The salmon was under cooked so much I couldn’t finish it.
Service was okay, not bad service though.
Bathroom was not clean. They were busy so it’s possible they just didn’t have time to tidy it up yet.

Well-organized Walgreens and they had everything I was looking for. It was a quick in-and-out trip, which I appreciated. The customer service was good, and the cashier who helped me today was kind. It’s fairly close to my work so I might have to stop by this location whenever I need something at the pharmacy.

A very fun track. Not a ton of elevation but overall fun to drive. Facilities are perfectly serviceable. One thing to note, the paddock can only be accessed by non race vehicles when the track is cold so if you are parked in the paddock when the track goes hot, you will not be able to leave. There is adequate parking on the other side and a foot bridge that goes over to accommodate this.
